Sabrina Palmer, PMHNP-BC

Founder & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, trained to provide psychiatric care. My clinical experience includes working with adults in outpatient and community mental health settings.

Background

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent four years as a registered nurse caring for individuals with both medical and psychiatric needs. This background has shaped the way I practice today, with an appreciation for the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and the many factors that influence mental health.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of psychiatric needs. I have particular experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, and other developmental differences.

I want my patients to understand not only their treatment options, but the reasoning behind them.

How I work

As a provider, I value curiosity, collaboration, and shared decision-making. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, discussing concerns openly, and taking an active role in your care.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and provide psychiatric care in both languages.

Your care at MindSol

What treatment actually looks like.

01

Personalized & Collaborative

Your treatment plan is developed with you, not simply for you. We'll discuss your concerns, goals, treatment options, and preferences so you can make informed decisions and take an active role in your care.

02

Thoughtful Medication Management

Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it is not the entire picture. When medication is appropriate, we'll carefully consider potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and how treatment fits into your overall health and daily life.

03

Beyond Medication

Mental health is influenced by more than symptoms alone. Visits may also incorporate psychoeducation, supportive and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and practical lifestyle strategies to support your overall well-being.
